Our Team

Bill Bigham

Senior Pastor

I was called into the gospel ministry when I was 20 years old.  I’ve had the joy of pastoring churches in North Carolina and Alabama.  My passion is to see Christians grow both in their knowledge and application of God’s Word.  Nothing is more important to me than preaching eternal truth!

I married my wife Suzanne in 1988, and in 1997 we had the privilege of adopting our daughter Monica.

I enjoy reading great Christian literature, along with biographies and books on history.  I also like spending time with the family and watching documentaries on TV.

But my greatest thrill?  It’s coming to the pulpit three times a week and saying…”please open your Bibles to…..”

Charles Inman

Associate Pastor

Children / Discipleship / Ministry

I am honored to be able to serve on staff at Boger City Baptist. After moving to Lincolnton in 2007, our family started attending Boger City Baptist. We found a loving group of individuals, solid Bible teaching, and a place where we could serve.

In 2020, I surrendered to the call God placed on my life for full-time ministry and enrolled in Fruitland Baptist Bible College. In November 2021, I was called to serve at BCBC as the Associate Pastor of children, discipleship, and ministry.

I encourage you to come join us in worship, growth, and service to Christ.

Rob Wise

Youth Pastor

I have lived in Lincoln County all my life, and graduated from West Lincoln High School in 1996.  I am a 2001 graduate of Western Carolina University, with a B.S. in Natural Resource Management, with a concentration in Forestry Production.  After college I worked at Tex Racing for four years as the assistant to the head of research and development.

I am in charge of a group we like to call BC2Y (Boger City Baptist Church Youth), and I love it.  This is my first church as a youth pastor, and I have been on staff here since January 2006.  I grew up in a Christian home, but never felt the call to ministry until the summer of 2005. God opened the door here, and well, I guess the rest is history.

Judi Grice

Music Director

I have always had a love for music …

When I was younger, I used to go in the back yard and mama told me I could “sing” to the trees, so that is what I did …. Today, I feel like I am singing for the Lord, and probably was then and just didn’t realize it.

Boger City Baptist Church is my home church, and I started playing the organ when I was in High School, until 1983. At that time I felt the calling to try another avenue and switched to directing the Adult Choir, as our current choir director had
resigned. I did so, and started working with the Adult, Senior Adult and Children’s Choirs.

In 1990 I was called to Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church to serve as choir director and did until September of 1995. When leaving Lincoln Avenue Baptist, my family and I returned to Boger City Baptist, which we felt like was our “home”. I filled in for the organist, pianist, and choir director for three years before being called back as Choir Director in July of 1998. I really enjoy working with each of these choirs here at Boger City, and I also lead in the Senior Adult program here at the church as we have a monthly meeting and luncheon, and also we go on at least two bus trips a year to various locations. God has allowed me to serve in two areas of my life that I really enjoy, Music and Seniors. I will always be grateful to Him for His provision in helping me in this ministry.

Candy Harmon

Administrative Assistant

I am the wife of James Harmon, Sr. and the mother of two sons; Jeremiah Christopher and James Alen, Jr.  I have been a Christian since 1996 and I am so blessed to be a part of the family of God.

I attend the Lincolnton Church of God where I sing on the Worship Team and currently serve with my husband on the Youth Board.  We are also blessed to be a part of a special biker ministry – “Driven by Grace” – in which we reach out to bikers in hopes to bring them to Christ.

The Lord has been so good to me and one of the many blessings He has given is my position here at Boger City Baptist Church.  I have been employed with the church since June of 2001, and it has been a pleasure working with other believers in our community to reach the lost.  I would like to say that I love the Lord with all my heart and it is my goal to live my life the best I can ~ serving Him and serving others.  God Bless!
